Swedish Meatballs

Meatballs:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg
2 tbsp minced onion
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Mix together and shape into balls the size of a walnut. Heat 1/2 cup of oil in a skillet and brown the meatballs. Remove meatballs.

Gravy:
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp paprika
2 cups milk
3/4 cup sour cream

Add flour and paprika to oil. Make smooth. Add milk and sour cream. Stir until smooth. return meat to the gravy and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

My sister Barbara served her mission in Sweden. She brought back this recipe. We have been eating Swedish meatballs before anyone had ever heard of IKEA.
