2 cups chicken, cooked/chopped
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
3 cups chicken broth
3 cans great northern beans
1 4 oz can green chilies, drained
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 cup sour cream, for topping
1/4 cup Monterrey jack cheese, shredded for topping
Saute onions in olive oil until transparent. Combine all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 35 minutes. Top with sour cream and cheese.
