1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp milk
40 Kisses
Cream sugar, shortening, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. Add flour, soda, salt, and milk. Make into balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. place kisses as soon as they come out of the oven.
On one of our first dates, we made these cookies and watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas (and smooched). It became a tradition and now during Christmas, we make these cookies and watch a Christmas movie. The movie seems to change from How the Grinch Stole Christmas to Elf to The Grinch.
